Wizarding London & Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

Our Wizarding London tour always works its magic on our younger customers and their parents. The Harry Potter films were shot on location in England and you can pick and mix destinations from the suggestions below.

A must see Harry Potter movie location has to be Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station. Here you can have your photo taken running through the wall and then after visit the Garry Potter shop to buy your wizarding supplies. The adjacent St. Pancras station appeared in Harry Potter and the Chamber Secrets in the flying Ford Anglia scene. Marvel at the ornate Gothic Revival architecture-you can imagine yourself flying around the splendid clock tower!

Thames bridges featured heavily in the films-Tower Bridge (flying broomstick scene from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), Millennium Bridge (Death Eaters scene from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Lambeth Bridge (where the Knight Bus squeezed between two normal London buses).

We'll take you to the Death Eaters attack location at Piccadilly Circus and Great Scotland Yard where Ron and Harry enter the Ministry of Magic. Gringotts Wizarding Bank was filmed at Australia House in London's Strand and 12 Grimmauld Place (the magically disguised ancestral home of Sirius Black) can be seen at Claremont Square. Though the inspiration for building is thoiught to have come from Lincoln’s Inn Fields-we can go there too if you like.

The stunning location of Leadenahll Market was used for Diagon Alley & the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron wizarding pub. Originally though the pub's entrance was filmed at Borough Market along with scenes for the Knight Bus & the Third Hand Bookshop (actually a traditional Victorian pub where you can stop off for lunch).

Harry Potter first realised there was something different about himself when he held a conversation with a snake in the Reptile House at London Zoo. See how you get on chatting to the animals on your visit to this wonderful institution in Regent’s Park.

Visit also Westminster Tube Station-one of the entrances to the Ministry of Magic and where Arthur Wesley got stuck at the entrance barriers. Another popular stop off is Cecil Court-thought to have been the inspiration for Diagon Alley.

We'll then magically whisk you away to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London—The Making of Harry Potter tour where you can enjoy original costumes, props and amazing sets from the Harry Potter films.

Lots to see here including the impressive model of Hogwarts castle meticulously made by the art department for the first Harry Potter film.
