During World War II, Bletchley Park was home to Britain's codebreakers, including Alan Turing, and played a unique and major role in producing intelligence that affected the outcome of the war. The site now offers visitors the chance to see where the code breakers lived and worked, the Library and wartime garages complete with WWII vehicles.

Computing machinery.

Featured in films and TV programmes, including the Oscar nominated film 'The Imitation Game', Bletchley Park has much to offer the whole family. Different exhibitions within the complex will appeal to all tastes with hands-on displays and interactives.

If there's time you have the option to look around the National Museum of Computing, which is dedicated to collecting and restoring historic computer systems, and the National Radio Centre, where you can learn about the basic principles of radio and discover the history of radio communication.

Aerial view of King's College Chapel.

Cambridge is a university city located on the River Cam. The university dates back to 1209 and colleges of note include Trinity College, founded by King Henry VIII and King's College with its Gothic chapel. Incidentally this is where Bletchley's Alan Turin graduated so there's a strong connection to this tour. We'll drive you around the city so you can marvel at the splendid architecture and maybe even time to stop off to watch the fellows punting along the river.

You're probably feeling peckish by now so it's off to a traditional English pub where you can enjoy great British staples such as fish and chips, shepherd's pie or even curry!

The round tower with clear blue sky.

Alternatively we can take you to Royal Windsor where you can walk the Long Walk, stroll around the town and visit Windsor Castle. William the Conqueror built the original castle in the 12th century and it has been the longest occupied palace by a monarch since the reign of King Edward I.

Jane - on behalf of Chauffeur Tour Scotland
"We have engaged David on our last three trips to Britain and continue to be delighted with his service. His van is clean and comfortable; he's always right on time; and we can count on him to plan interesting itineraries for us. He's an informative tour guide, giving us just the right amount of information without being too loquacious. He's eager to please, and willing to alter the tour on the fly if interesting alternatives present themselves. I am happy to give David my most enthusiastic recommendation - you won't be disappointed"
