Full of beautiful scenery, wild moors and with a wonderful coastline, Cornwall tours offer you the chance to mix history, culture, the outdoors and sample the famous Cornish Cream tea and Cornish pasty!

The castle and Dart Estuary.

Cornwall inspires novelists and artists, past and present: Daphne Du Maurier set many of her novels including Rebecca and Jamaica Inn here. The Tate Gallery at St Ives holds works by modern British artists and there are many galleries with contemporary works for sale. Steeped in legend and folklore, Cornwall's history harks back centuries. Celtic kings, Arthurian legend and castles galore.

Plan your Cornish tour to include historic sites, such as Tintagel, St Michael's Mount, Truro Cathedral or National Trust properties and gardens like Lanhydrock. Popular and award winning tourist attractions you might want to visit include the famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell Brewery, the outdoor Minack Theatre at Porthcurno and the historic tin mines at Geevor.

Bridge to King Arthur's Castle.

Visit Tintagel and cross the hair-raising bridge to King Arthur's legendary castle. You'll feel the magic of Merlin in the air as you walk back in time and explore the rugged peninsula located near this typical Cornish coastal town.

Surfer riding a wave.

Visit the beautiful wild north coast and the culinary destination of Padstowe (Rick Stein country), the surfing resort of Newquay with its zoo, Lanhydrock country house, the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac (where the TV series Doc Martin was filmed), Portreath Heritage Coast and Godrevy (to name but a few). You can even spend time exploring the Cornish wilderness of Bodmin Moor and the southern coastal resorts of Polperro and Falmouth.

The church with beach and sea beyond.

St. Ives is a must see destination, not only for its beauty but also its art heritage. The unique light of this beautiful Cornish fishing port has attracted countless important artists over the centuries. The artists colony at St. Ives was instrumental in the development of modern art after the war and Tate St. Ives on the seafront has rolling exhibitions of such works.

Explore the narrow cobbled streets of St. Ives with its indepenent shops and traditional Cornish fishing cottages. Boat trips are available to nearby seal island where—if you're lucky—you'll catch a glimpse of...seals!

Tour the scenic southern coast, Land's End and Lizard peninsula, historic fishing hamlets at Mousehole, Polperro and Mevagissey, the bustling ports of Falmouth and Penzance with all their maritime history.

Country road, farm and fields.

Depending on the amount of time you have available, we can build in a tour of the West Country's beautiful counties of Devon or Somerset. Devon is the only county in England with two coastlines. Visit the south coast seaside towns of Beer, Exmouth, Torquay, Paington, Dartmouth Salcombe and Plymouth or the north coast's Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Westward Ho! (named after the book), Croyde and Clovelly. Or venture inland to explore medieval towns, moorland national parks and traditional country pubs.

Roman Baths at Bath.

The neighbouring county of Somerset also has a coastline. Seaside resorts here include Bossington Beach, Minehead, Blue Anchor, Burnham-on-Sea, Kilve, Watchet and the stunning Victorian seaside town of Clevedon. Beautiful rural areas include the Blackdown Hills, Quantock Hills, Exmoor National Park and Mendip Hills where you can visit Cheddar Gorge-the site of the Cheddar Caves where the oldest complete human skeleton was found.

Visit the low-lying Somerset Levels and medieval Glastonbury where the legendary King Arthur is said to be buried, or journey back in time on the West Somerset Steam Railway. Even further back in time, a trip to the Roman city of Bath is a must. Visit the Roman Baths and explore the town, making sure you don't miss out on Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House & Museum-the oldest building in the city.

There is so much to do in England's West Country! Spend three or more days touring beautiful Cornwall, Devon and Somerset-we will put together a tailored itinerary for you, arrange accommdation and of course you will travel in style with an expert guide. For one person, couples or groups of up to 8 persons in luxury air conditioned cars.

Prices not inclusive of your accommodation—you will need to book this separately. Driver accommodation is included.

Our customers say...
"We have engaged David on our last three trips to Britain and continue to be delighted with his service. His van is clean and comfortable; he's always right on time; and we can count on him to plan interesting itineraries for us. He's an informative tour guide, giving us just the right amount of information without being too loquacious. He's eager to please, and willing to alter the tour on the fly if interesting alternatives present themselves. I am happy to give David my most enthusiastic recommendation - you won't be disappointed"

"My mother and I have used David's expertise and experience. His sense of journey, knowledge of hidden jewels in the countryside, and endeavor to route your travel into a fairytale makes one feel unique and cared for with the highest thoughtfulness. We have used his other drivers for intermediate occasions and they too, were fantastic. We're starting our fourth tour with London Country Tours in the fall"
