Well this tour really does what it says on the tin - Castles, Coast & Countryside gallore!

People shopping in one of the lanes.

Brighton—a glamorous seaside town is only 50 miles from London. We’ll take you there in style and show you the sights… then you can settle into a deckchair and watch the world go by. Stroll along the promenade and then eat candyfloss on the famous Victorian Palace Pier (watch out for the seagulls, they’re always hungry!).

Wander through the narrow streets, known as The Lanes. These quaint little alleys are full of antique shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants.

After an action-packed day, drop into The Grand hotel–an extravagant, beautiful setting for afternoon tea and cake, overlooking the sea.

Turrets and battlements through trees.

We then visit Arundel Castle, a stunning 11th century castle situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun. Surprisingly there's a cricket field in the castle grounds!

This tour will return through the lovely English countryside through the rolling Sussex Downs. At the foot of the Downs is the picturesque village of Amberly with its many thatched cottages. If you’re hungry on the way home, we can round off your day with a slap-up dinner at a country pub.

The beaufiful countryside view from Ditchling Beacon.

If there's time you can visit either the breathtaking cliffs at Beachy Head or the quintessentially English Victorian coastal resort of Eastbourne…

The beach and promenade with Victorian hotel.

Eastbourne is a seaside town with Victorian seafront hotels and nineteenth century pier. The Towner Art Gallery displays works by modern British artists and there's a Napoleonic era fort and military museum. Interesting buildings include All Souls Church, Regency-style bow-fronted houses at Cavendish Place and the Neo-Grec style bandstand. You can also get pretty good fish and chips from one of the many places to eat around the town.

The cliffs, sea and lighthouse.

Beachy Head is the tallest white chalk cliff in Britain rising to an impressive 162 metres above sea level. The cliffs have featured in many films and TV programmes including the scene from James Bond's The Living Daylights, where a secret agent parachutes from a Land Rover. Audiences were led to believe this was taking place in Gibraltar but in reality it was fimed off Beachy Head! Below the cliffs in the waters of the Engish Channel is the Beachy Head Lighthouse, which was completed in 1834.

Our customers say...
"We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful tour of the English countryside. We found David on the internet and he custom designed a budget-friendly tour that perfectly met the needs of our family. David promptly picked us up and vehicle was clean and comfortable. Along the drive to Stonehenge, he provided us with historical and trivial information about the areas we were travelling through. David is extremely knowledgeable, he was very patient with our questions, and great with the kids too. The tour was the highlight of our trip to London"
Jennifer - Chicago, USA
"The guided tour with David was wonderful - he is extremely knowledgeable on England history and he took us to many places outside the city"
